Overview
This article will provide troubleshooting for when badges are not printing according to the settings in Printing Preferences or are printing by old settings when settings are changed.
Instructions
Badge on Demand uses ScriptX to print from the browser. Do the following steps to troubleshoot ScriptX.
- Be sure your computer has the latest version of ScriptX. Click here to learn how to get the latest version of ScriptX.
- Try a reset of the ScriptX service on the computer. Click here to learn how to reset ScriptX Services
- Try making another printer the default printer, and then change it back to the printer you are using. This will force ScriptX to see the new settings on your printer.
How to adjust Printing Position:
Navigate to Devices and Printers > Printing Preferences > Options tab then adjust the vertical and/or horizontal print area adjustment. Depending on how skewed the image is you may have to readjust multiple times.
- For vertical adjustment - a positive value will adjust Up, a negative value will adjust Down
- For horizontal adjustment - a positive value will adjust Left, a negative value will adjust Right
Tip: Make sure your badge stock is centered through the rear feed guides before adjusting horizontal alignment
