Overview
This article will explain what to check when the Epson printer's stock is no longer feeding or is tearing. There may be an error on the LCD display of the printer depending on the reason for the issue.
Instructions
- First, confirm the printer settings are correct (specifically, check Media Layout, Media Detection, & Media Source then load the paper.
- Do the following if the stock continues to jam when attempting to print:
- Take out the stock
- Power cycle the printer (turn off and turn on)
- Reload the stock
- Recalibrate the printer.
- Recalibrate the printer by doing the following:

- Press and hold the Feed button (do not let go)
- Turn the printer off and wait 3 seconds
- Turn the printer on (while still holding the Feed button)
- Keep holding the Feed button until the printer begins printing onto the stock.
- Recheck settings and attempt to print again.
