Like any piece of electronic equipment, the printers used by Expo Logic possess an upper temperature limit. When a printer is exposed to durations of high temperature - in transit on a delivery truck or in any non-climate controlled environment - its internal temperature can rise to unsafe levels. When this occurs, the printer will automatically power down its functions in an effort to preserve internal parts. On Expo Logic printers, particularly the Epson C3500, this will show as Printer Error 7C. Because this is a built-in failsafe to protect the printer from damage, the only recourse is to wait for the printer's temperature to drop. Once it drops to safe levels, the error will clear automatically and normal functions can resume.
