Overview

Custom Qualifiers and Custom Surveys are two similar upgrade options available for the LeadKey and the LeadPod Pro app. They allow customers who are collecting leads to have greater flexibility and customization with regards to their lead data.

Custom Qualifiers

Customers who purchase lead retrieval have the option of adding custom qualifiers to their order. Custom qualifiers are scannable barcodes created within the MyExpoLeads (MXL) platform and are compatible with both the LeadKey and the LeadPod Pro. When an exhibitor scans a badge, they can scan a custom qualifier along side of the badge to add additional data into the final lead report. When customers purchase this upgrade, they will see a new tab populate at the top of their MXL portal, titled Custom Qualifiers. Clicking on this tab will switch from the Manage Leads view of the portal to the Manage Qualifiers view of the portal:

 

This portion of the portal will allow users to create custom qualifiers as well as download and print them. There is no functional limit to how many qualifiers can be created, but each qualifier has a maximum limit of 25 characters. Selecting the Download Qualifiers option will open a new window with the qualifiers generated as barcodes that can then be printed:

 

Please note: It is best practice to print your qualifiers prior to arriving to your event. It is not guaranteed that onsite support staff will have access to a printer to print them for you.

 

Custom Surveys

Customers also have the option of adding custom surveys to their order. Unlike custom qualifiers, custom surveys are only compatible with the LeadPod Pro app. Custom surveys allow users to create surveys with varying question types that can be filled out for more specific lead information. They can be accessed via MXL:

Upon entering, there will be two tabs: the first allowing the user to assign surveys to licenses, and the second allowing the user to create surveys:

Users can create multiple surveys and choose to assign them to any available license via the dropdown menu. Surveys can be edited to include text-based answers, numeric-based answers, single-select answers, and multiple-select answers. Surveys will automatically populate once scanning a lead, such as in the example scan below:

 

Please note:  In order to properly assign surveys to your license/device, you will first need to log out of your LeadPod Pro app. After logging out, assign your desired survey to your license and then log back in. This will allow the survey to properly sync to your device.
