Collecting customer leads with Expo Logic's lead retrieval offerings has never been easier! Below are some of the most frequently asked questions relating to Expo Logic's lead retrieval devices: what they are, how they work, and more.

What is the LeadKey?

The LeadKey is a battery-powered, hand-held badge reader. With it, you are able to scan badge barcodes and collect leads. These leads are then uploaded into our online platform, MyExpoLeads, where you will be able to view and download them after your event's conclusion. With it's small profile and lightweight design, it makes collecting leads efficient and hassle-free! For more information, please see our short, informative video on LeadKeys.

 

What is the LeadPod Pro?

The LeadPod Pro is an app-based scanning system which allows you to collect leads via your mobile device! Like the LeadKey, you will be able to scan badge barcodes to log customer leads - all from your own Android or Apple device! The LeadPod Pro app also features a higher level of customization than the LeadKey; with it, you can take notes on leads, create custom surveys and questions, indicate whether a lead is "cold" or "hot," and more. How do I order?

Ordering lead retrieval is made simple by our online ordering form. After entering your event's show code, you will be able to select your lead retrieval options from our list of available packages. Then, you can enter your billing information and submit your order! For more information, please see our Knowledge Base article detailing the order process.

 

Where do I pick up my LeadKey?

LeadKey devices will be available for pickup from an onsite staff member at the event. If you require special delivery circumstances, please reach out to our support team.

 

How do I access the LeadPod Pro app?

For directions on how to access your LeadPod Pro app, please consult the confirmation email. This email is sent out after ordering lead retrieval from Expo Logic. For LeadPod Pro users, you will find links to download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store as well as license login information and a brief startup guide.

 

I lost my email confirmation/LPP login info. What do I do?

Not to worry - our Support Team will be able to resend your confirmation email to you in case it is no longer in your possession. Simply reach out to our Support Team and a new confirmation email will be sent to you.

 

What information is included in my leads?

This can vary event to event. Generally speaking, the following points of data are consistent across all events when collecting leads:

  • Badge Number
  • Date/Time of the scan (according to device used)
  • Full name and contact info
  • Company name and contact info
  • Registration type, if applicable
  • Notes

Please note that badges will pull information directly from the attendee's account. If an attendee has not filled out any of the above fields - for example, their company's contact information - then this data will not populate within a scanned lead.

 

How do I access my leads?

All leads can be accessed via the MyExpoLeads Portal. The link to this portal and your unique login information can be found within your confirmation email. For more information, please see our article on accessing your scanned leads.

 

When will my leads be available? 

All leads scanned via LeadKey devices must be uploaded by an Expo Logic staff member, which is typically done once the device is returned. Because this is a manual process, some variations in uploading speed can occur. All leads scanned via the LeadPod Pro app are typically available immediately upon syncing the app with the only server. 

 

How long will my leads be available?

All leads will be available on the MyExpoLeads platform for 90 days after the conclusion of the event. 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Expo Logic's cancellation policy is as follows: You may cancel your order up to 2 weeks before the event's opening date. A $50.00/Order Cancellation Fee will apply. No refunds will be given for orders cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the event's opening date.

 

My LeadKey/LeadPod Pro app is not working! 

First, it is important to doublecheck that your device has been setup properly. To do so, please consult the directions in your confirmation email. We also recommend our starter videos on the LeadKey device and the LeadPod Pro app. If difficulties persist, please look to contact an onsite support team member for immediate assistance. If onsite support is not present or otherwise unavailable, our support team can be contacted via email and would be happy to assist.
